"Everyone's contribution is invaluable in sowing goodness in the society

Shekhar Gaikwad; Prof. Dr. Sanjay Chordia awarded with 3rd Lions Samaj Ratna Award

Pune : Corona pandemic showed us that Humanity is the most important value. The goodness of many in the community helped the needy in this difficult situation.We all have a responsibility to sow the seeds of goodness in our society.For that, we must all work hard to be sensitive," This statement was made by the state sugar commissioner Shekhar Gaikwad.

Lions Club of Pune Twenty First Century Pratishthan and Lions Friends jointly presented the 3rd Lions Samaj Ratna Award to Prof. Dr Sanjay Chordia, founder of Suryadatta Group of Institutes with the hands of Shekhar Gaikwad on the occasion of World Diabetic Day. Also Diabetic checkup and awareness lecture by Dr. Ashwini Joshi, Diabetist. This program happens at Suryadatta Campus at Bavdhan. Vitthal Jadhav, Ex-IPS, Samrat Phadnis, Senior Journalist, Dr. Satish Desai, Dr. Sandeep Butala, Dilip WedePatil, Corporator, Yogesh Mokate, Chandrahas Shetty, Past District Governor and Convenor of Program, Sham Khandelwal, Satish Rajhans and many others were present on this occasion.

Shekhar Gaikwad said that, Corona has brought winds of change in all areas. In this case, innovative experiments should be done in the field of education and social work. We should focus on imparting up-to-date knowledge instead of out-of-date education and it should be imparted from a social point of view and not from a commercial point of view. Digital technology must be assimilated. It should be the goal of the professor that such education should not leave any doubt in the minds of the students. We are also making a number of changes in the sugar sector. We are implementing innovative initiatives.

In the acceptance speech Dr. Sanjay Chordia mentioned that, helping needy people is our duty. We have been working for the last 20 year with the same feeling and motive. We strive to provide innovative and sustainable education.According to the principle of 'Sharing is Gaining', the knowledge, money and time we have should be passed on to others. Selfless service should be your goal. In the last eight to nine months, Corona has further strengthened the bond of humanity  

Vitthal Jadhav has also expressed his views. Chandrahas Shetty gave introductory remarks. Prakash Narake compared the program and RK Shaha gave a vote of thanks.

Startup & Skill base education needed : Phadnis

All four pillars of democracy performed well in Corona’s difficult conditions. Dr. Sanjay Chordia's contribution in this pandemic is motivational to all of us and I feel grateful to felicitate him. His zeal to bring global change, technology, innovation to our teachers is commendable.There is a need to implement many innovative initiatives in education today. We have to accept new things while maintaining our traditional good values.
